How we work
Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Celestia Times covers the news stories, trends and moments that capture the internet’s attention. Viral does not mean careless: these are the standards every story follows.
Accuracy first
- Every story is based on reporting from established news organisations, official announcements or primary sources, and those sources are linked at the end of each article.
- We cross-check key facts — names, numbers, dates and quotes — against more than one source wherever possible.
- When a claim has not been officially confirmed, we say so clearly (for example, “according to reports”).
- We do not publish fabricated stories, fake quotes, or hoaxes presented as fact. When we cover a hoax, we clearly explain that it is false.
Original writing
Our stories are written in our own words. We do not copy other publications’ articles; short quotations are attributed to their source.
Headlines
Our headlines aim to be lively but honest. We avoid misleading “clickbait” that the story does not support.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers. We do not accept payment to cover, or not cover, a story. Any sponsored content would be clearly labelled as such.
Fairness and sensitivity
We aim to be fair to the people we write about, avoid sensational treatment of tragedy, and avoid content that is hateful, harassing or harmful.
Images
Story illustrations are original artwork made by our team. They are decorative and are not presented as photographs of real events.
Corrections
Mistakes happen. When they do, we correct them promptly and transparently. See our Corrections Policy.
