Corrections Policy

We are committed to accuracy. If we get something wrong, we want to know — and we will fix it.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] or use our contact form and choose “Correction”. Please include:

• The link to the story.
• What you believe is incorrect.
• A source that supports the correct information, if you have one.

What happens next

• We review every correction request, usually within two business days.
• Factual errors are corrected in the story, and significant corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the change.
• Small fixes such as typos may be corrected without a note.
• If a story develops after publication, we may update it and note the update.

Removal requests

We do not remove accurate news stories simply because they are unwelcome, but we will review requests involving safety, privacy or legal concerns case by case. For copyright matters, see our DMCA & Copyright page.
